Luther L. Frantom

Graveside services for Luther L. Frantom were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in
Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, with Rev. Jimmie Griffin officiating. 
Burial was under direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Frantom, 70, of Pineville, died at 8:05 a.m. Friday, December 16, 1988m in
Veterans Administration Medical Center, Pineville.

He was a native of Winnfield and an army veteran of World War II.  He was a
retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Coker Frantom of Pineville; three
daughters, Patricia Davis of Leland, Miss.; Belinda Upchurch of Greenville,
Miss.; and Sharon Doke of Guam; three sons, Raymond Carpenter of Winnfield,
Bobby Frantom of Garland, Texas, and Robert Frantom of Houston, Texas; one
sister, Katie Ryder of Pineville; and 14 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Raymond Carpenter, Bobby Frantom, Robert Frantom, Rayford
Riley, Russell Riley, and Wayne Upchurch.
