Frazier At Cypress Creek Joe E. Frazier, 85 year old Winn resident, died at his home on Route 3, Winnfield, at 8 p.m. Sunday after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb, Rev. C. C. Martin, and Rev. Jewel Canerday officiating. Burial was in the Cypress Creek Cemetery with Masonic rites at the graveside. Serving as pallbearers were Luther Frazier, Rex Ferrier, Cloy Frazier, Joe Thornton, Glen Parr, and Garland Roberson. Mr. Frazier had been a longtime resident of Winn Parish, having moved here from Lincoln Parish as a young man. He was a member of Eastern Star Masonic Lodge No. 151, a member of the Cypress Creek Baptist Church, and a retired farmer and cattleman. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Ada Machen Frazier; four daughters, Mrs. Clara White and Mrs. O. M. Garrett of Winnfield; Mrs. J. W. Kiley and Mrs. George Zurod of Houston, Texas; one son, Elmo Frazier of Winnfield; six grandchildren, and seven great granchildren.
