R. S. Frazier, 67, Passed Away Saturday, Oct. 28 The Rev. Ralph S. Frazier, 67, of Winnfield, died Saturday afternoon, October 28, 1972 at 3 a.m. in the Winnfield General Hospital. Rev. Frazier was a native of Jena and a retired Baptist minister. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jessie Dee Frazier of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Riley of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Simpson of Bearden, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Nancy Riley and Ralph M. Long. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church in Winnfield with the Rev. Jack Baucum officiating, assisted by the Rev. Calvin Phelps and the Rev. J. L. Holt. Burial was in the Garden of Memories in Winnfield under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Pallbearers included Gene S. Porter, J. W. "Pete" Johnson, Benny W. Long, Don Walsh, Henry Sanders, Paul Shaw.
