Grant Native Dies Sunday In Houma

Funeral services for Alfred Fredieu, 68, of Houma, formerly of Colfax, were
held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Colfax First Baptist Church with the Rev. G. A.
Spears officiating.

Burial was at Colfax Cemetery.

Mr. Fredieu died Sunday, January 6, 1974 at Terrebonne General Hospital in
Houma after a long illness.

He was a retired cabinetmaker and a native of Grant Parish.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Tressie Fredieu of Houma; two daugthers,
Mrs. Mavern Franks and Mrs. Barbara Frederick, both of Houma; two brothers,
John Fredieu and Albert Fredieu, both of Colfax.
