Brother of Local Citizen Succumbs

Funeral services were held Friday, March 17, in Jonesboro for Alfred Fredieu,
45, brother of Walter Fredieu of Winnfield.  Services were conducted by
Rev. A. A. McKnight of the Jonesboro Methodist Church.

Mr. Fredieu, who had been in ill health for more than a year, died March 16 in
a Shreveport hospital.

He is survived by his wife, the former Faye Peevy, his mother, Mrs. Paul
Fredieu of Colfax; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ivey and Mrs. Walter R. Richards
of Colfax and Mrs. Cora Fuller of Alexandria; five brothers, Lawrence, Johnny,
and Rufus, of Colfax, Walter of Winnfield, and Arthur of Hugo, Oklahoma.
