All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: April 20, 1950 Winn Parish Enterprise Mina Freeman, 63, Farmer of Winn, Dies Suddenly Mina Freeman, 63, died of a heart attack while enroute to Winnfield Wednesday, April 19. He had been in ill health for over a year. Mr. Freeman, a farmer, resided on the Atlanta Road near Winnfield. At the time of his death, Mr. Freeman was steering a car, which was being towed into Winnfield. He signaled for the driver of the two car to stop, got out of his car, and then fell dead. He had suffered a light heart attack the night before. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leva Freeman; two step children, Mrs. Thelma Carpenter and Mrs. Corrine Martin of Goldonna, and several brothers and sisters. Rev. Calvin M. Robinson was in charge of the funeral services. Burial was in Yankee Springs Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
