Leonard Freeman Rites Conducted At Sardis Church

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday for Leonard Morris Freeman, 73,
who died in a local hospital Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1952.  Rites were conducted by
the Rev. E. B. Barton, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Miller, and interment was
in the Sardis Cemetery under direction of the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Freeman resided with his daughter, Mrs. Roy Keyes, in the Sardis
Community.  Survivors also include two other daughters, Mrs. Virgil McQuillin
of Crowville and Mrs. John Fletcher of Vicksburg, Miss.; a son, Orie L.
Freeman of Crossett, Ark., and a brother, Arthur Freeman of Castor.

Pallbearers were Iv, Josh, and Eugene Keyes, Frank Barton and Roy Ray.
