Mother of Mrs. L. H. Jordan Dies In Springhill

Mrs. Blanche Alma French, 63, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, 1972 in her
Springhill residence.

She is survived by one son, James Allen French of Springhill; two daughters,
Mrs. A____ Jean Smith of Wilma, Tex., and Mrs. Leigh Hurl Jordan of Winnfield;
one brother, Buddy C. Nugent of Pineville; three sisters, Mrs. Leona
Strickland of Houma, Mrs. J. B. Rambo of Huffman, Texas, and Mrs. Lillian
Scroggs of Pineville, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Wilmer Jordan officiating, assisted by
Elder Mansfield.  Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home.
