James H. French, Sr.

Services for James H. French, Sr., 54, of Winnfield, were held at 3 p.m.
Saturday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Alson Jeter and Carroll
Grice officiating.

Burial was in Old Union Cemetery in Joyce.

Mr. French died Thursday, November 13, 1980 from injuries sustained in an
automobile accident.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was self-employed in the
oil industry.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice French of Winnfield; a son, James H.
French, Jr., of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Narvaez of Lamarque,
Texas, and Donna French of Winnfield; three brothers, Jack French of
Winnfield, Don Ingles and Johnny Ingles, both of Texas City, Texas; a sister,
Mrs. Laverne Lang of Texas City, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
