Frazier Is Buried at Cypress Creek Monday Mrs. Bettie Aline Frazier, wife of Cornelius Frazier of Winnfield, Route Four, died suddenly from a heart stroke Sunday morning, 12:30 o'clock, January 2, 1944. She was 51 years of age. Funeral services were held in the home of Monday at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister of Winnfield, and Rev. Adkins of Calvin officiating. Interment was in the Cypress Creek Cemetery that afternoon at 4 o'clock. Acting as pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Cloy Frazier, Cortez Frazier, G. P. Long, Jr., and O. M. Garrett, all of Winnfield; Kenneth Dillard of New Orleans and Clarence Burnham of Memphis, Tenn. Mrs. Frazier was born in Ward Four, Winn Parish, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Machen. She was a member of the Calvin Baptist Church and leaves many friends to mourn her passing. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Misses Gladys and Collean Frazier, of Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. G. W. Lowe of Route 4, wife of M/M 1/C G. W. Lowe; two sons, Rex Frazier and wife of Dallas, Texas, and Luther Frazier and wife of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Betty Jean Lowe, Wanda Yvonne Frazier, and Barbara Ann Frazier; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Burnham of Calvin, Mrs. Alma Robinson of Tallulah, and Mrs. J. E. Frazier of Route 4, Winnfield; four brothers, Henry Machen and Pierce Machen, Winnfield; Maurice Machen of Tallulah and Hershell Machen of Lake Providence.
