All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: June 14, 1962 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Final Rites For Cornelius Frazier At Cypress Creek Cornelius Frazier, 76, retired farmer, died suddenly at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at his home several miles northwest of Winnfield on Rural Route 3. He resided most of his adult life in that area, and was a member of the Calvin Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield at 10:30 a.m. Monday with burial following in the Cypress Creek Cemetery. Rev. C. E. Arrington of Georgetown and Rev. E. D. Smith of Calvin Baptist Church officiated. Acting as pallbearers were Edgar Frazier, Cloy Frazier, Elmo Frazier, Garland Roberson, Onus Garrett, and James Walker. Surviving are his widow and five children, two sons, Rex E. Frazier of Arlington, Texas and Luther P. Frazier of Irving, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Ben L. Johnson and Mrs. George W. Lowe of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Lloyd Stoneham of Houston, Texas; one brother, Joseph E. Frazier of Route 3, Winnfield.
