Mrs. Elnora Fatheree Succumbs at Sikes

Mrs. Elnora Fatheree, 70, a lifelong resident of Sikes, succumbed at her home
March 31, following a stroke.  Funeral services were held April 2, 1945 at the
Thomas Church with Rev. G. L. Scott of Jonesboro officiating.  Burial was
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The deceased is survived by her husband, J. R. Fatheree of Sikes; four
daughters, Mrs. Estelle Coffeer, Port Arthur, Texas; Mrs. Mandy Sowers, Sikes;
Mrs. Merle Brown, Clarks, La.; Miss Tharon Fatheree, Sikes; Arnold, Lufkin,
Texas; Holland, U. S. Army, overseas; and Otis, of Sikes.

She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Louisa Fatheree, Grayson, La., and a number
of grandchildren and one great grandchild.
