S. Fuller Prominent Bernice Banker Dies After Brief Illness The following clipping taken from the Shreveport Times gives a brief account of the death of the father of Mr. Harry Fuller, our District Attorney, which occurred at the family home in Bernice Monday. "Y. S. Fuller, president of the Bank of Bernice, died at 5 o'clock Monday morning following a stroke of paralysis Sunday night. Mr. Fuller was one of the foremost citizens of the state. He was cashier of the Bank of Bernice for 24 years and its active president for three years. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Y. S. Fuller, three sons and two daughters, Harry Fuller of Winnfield, James Fuller of Bernice, R. D. Fuller of Shreveport, Miss Hilda Fuller of Lisbon, Mrs. Dewey Landers, Marion; two brothers, Duke Fuller of Memphis, Tenn., and Guy Fuller of California, and one sister, Mrs. G. E. Lindsey of Bernice. Services will be at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday with interment in the local cemetery." Mr. Harry Fuller left early Monday morning in response to a message telling of his father's serious illness. His many friends sympathize deeply with him in the loss of his father. The following local citizens attended the funeral service held Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist Church of Bernice of which Mr. Fuller had been a faithful member for many years. Messers J. E.
