Mother of Mrs. R. L. Buchanan Buried July 27

Mrs. Alma June Futrell, 64, of Colfax, died in an Alexandria hospital June 25. 
She was the widow of the late Luke Futrell, well known Grant Parish farmer.

Mrs. Futrell is survived by one son, Earl Futrell of Colfax; two daughters,
Mrs. R. L. Buchanan of Winnfield and Miss Elaine Futrell of Colfax; two
brothers and two sisters.

Final rites were held July 27 in the Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy
Watts, Rev. H. B. Bass, and Rev. Arthur Achord officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Hixson.
