Nephew of Georgetown Resident Dies

Richard Gordon Futrell of Baytown, Texas, nephew of Mrs. L. E. Coleman of
Georgetown, La., departed this life on Sunday, July 25, 1971 at 11:15 a.m. at
the age of 54 years in a Baytown hospital.  He was the son of the late Dr. and
Mrs. Richard L. Futrell of Baytown, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Earthman's Chapel
with Dr. Lamar Clark and the Rev. Gary Bonner officiating at Baytown, Texas.

Mr. Futrell was a resident of Baytown for 35 years.  He had retired from the
Main Post Officer after 32 years service.  He was superintendent of mails when
he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Gibson Futrell of Baytown; and one
brother, H. A. Futrell of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services were held on Monday, July 26, 1971 at 4:00 p.m. at the
Moore Cemetery near Dry Prong with Rev. Wilburn Taylor officiating.
