Fox Buried At Zion Hill Wednesday Mrs. Selma White Fox, wife of Rev. N. J. Fox, pastor of the Cherry Ridge Baptist Church of Bastrop, and daughter of Mrs. W. C. White of Winnfield, died at her home in Bastrop Monday morning, May 5, after a year's illness. Mrs. Fox, a native of Winn Parish, had lived most of her life in the Tannehill Community. Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and additional services were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion Hill. Interment was in the Zion Hill Cemetery at Tannehill under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Rev. N. T. Smith of Monroe, officiated at both services. Mrs. Fox is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Reeves, Winnfield; Mrs. Odessa Reeves, Montgomery, and Ann Fox of Bastrop; five sons, Troy, Lyndell, J. C., and Deloy, all of Bastrop, and Norris of the U. S. Navy; her mother, Mrs. W. C. White; a grandmother, Mrs. Martha Jordan of Winnfield and a brother, Johnny White of Winnfield.
