James W. Franks, 77, Succumbs: Burial In Hodge

James William Franks, 77, of Winnfield, died at noon Monday, January 20, 1969
in Veterans Administration Hospital in Pineville after a long illness.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter Sheppherd of Mineral Wells, Texas;
two brothers, Lige Franks and Abram Franks, both of Winnfield; one sister,
Mrs. R. B. Blackstock of Winnfield; four grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

Funeral service were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmond's
Funeral Home with Rev. J. W. Kennedy officiating.  Burial was in Hodge
Cemetery.
