C. Fowler, 60, Dies; Rites Held At Mt. Zion Mayo Clifford Fowler, 60, of Sulphur died Friday, February 26, 1971 at his residence. He was a retired machinist with the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Fowler of Sulphur; three brothers, R. E. Fowler of Brownfield, Tex., S. M. Fowler of Montgomery, and W. A. Fowler of Ft. Necessity; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fowler of Wheeling. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church near Montgomery with Rev. G. A. McVay officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Pallbearers were Pete Fowler, Buford Fowler, John Keiffer, Billy Mayo Fowler, Burgess Mitchell, and Irving Neal.
