Mrs. Fletcher Dies In Elton, Rites August 19

Mrs. W. A. Fletcher of Elton, La., died Sunday, August 18, at the home of her
niece, Mrs. Claude Crow of Cotton Valley.  She was the aunt of Mrs. Shirley
Jackson of Winnfield, and the sister in law of Mrs. Carl Smith of Verda.  Rev.
Richard Walton of Winnfield assisted with funeral services, which were held
August 19 in Elton.

Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Jackson, Mr.
and Mrs. John Glynn Jackson, Mrs. Maxwell Crowe, Mrs. Harold DeBray, Misses
Fran and Jan Shell, Rev. and Mrs. R. E. Walton, all of Winnfield; Mrs. Carl
Smith, Mrs. Lowe and Charles Dick of Verda; Mrs. Robert Shaw, Misses Lee and
Ann Shaw of New Orleans.
