Funeral Rites For Belton G. Gregory Held

Funeral services for Belton G. Gregory, 55, of Sun Valley, Calif., formerly of
Grayson, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 18, 1970 at Hebron Baptist
Church with Rev. Virgil Jones officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home
of Columbia.

Mr. Gregory died Sunday, December 13, 1970 at Sun Valley after a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Joanna Gregory of Sun Valley, Calif.; his
mother, Mrs. Carrie Gregory of Grayson; five sisters, Mrs. Lois McCarty of
Sikes, Mrs. Marie Haddox of Columbia, Mrs. Lozelle Rozema of Detroit, Mich.,
Mrs. Audrey Cruse of Denham Springs, and Mrs. Opal McAlpin of Stone
Mountain, Ga.; and two brothers, Elton Gregory of Sun Valley and Clayton
Gregory of Monroe.

Pallbearers were Clyde Herring, Alvin Pepper, John Mayes, Gordon May, Milton
Crain, and Oscar Fay Parker.

Out of town friends and relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs.
Jessie Willis, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Broom, and Mr. and Mrs. John Mayes, of
Monroe, La.
