Former Dodson Resident Dies in Tyler

Mrs. Bernice Gaar, 91, died Saturday, January 19, 1974, at her home in Tyler,
Texas.

A native of Dodson, Mrs. Gaar was the widow of the late William Michael Gaar.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in
Tyler.  Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Kermit A. Gaar, Sr., of Shreveport, and Harold
Gaar of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Aloah Deason of Tyler, Gladys
Gaar of Dallas, and Mrs. Marjorie Lowrey of Midland, Texas; 12 grandchildren
and 20 great grandchildren.
