Former Dodson Resident Dies In Shreveport

Funeral services for Mrs. Adrienne Waltman Gaar, 86, of Shreveport, were
(conducted) at 4 p.m. Thursday in Rose-Neath Funeral Home by her brother,
Rev. B. W. Waltman, and the Rev. H. W. Longfellow, pastor of Wynn Memorial
Methodist Church.  Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Mrs. Gaar died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 1972, in Midway Manor Nursing
Home after a short illness.  She was a native of Natchez, Miss., a former
resident of Dodson, a Shreveport resident since 1964, and was a member of
Wynn Memorial Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Magnolia
Chapter.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evangeline T. Harbin, Shreveport; two
sons, Joe F. Trainor and R. L Bennett, both of Shreveport; two brothers,
the Rev.  Mr. Walton, Overton, Tex., and Joe F. Waltman, Denver, Colo.; a
sister, Mrs. L. C. Prothro, Hallsville, Tex.; six grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren.
