Homer Gaar, 62, Buried in New Hope Cemetery

Homer Gaar, 62, a native of the Hudson Community, died in West Monroe Tuesday
morning, following a stroke.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery Wednesday at 3
p.m., with the Rev. L. G. Shaw of Winnfield officiating.

Mr. Gaar was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. M. D. Gaar of Hudson.  He is
survived by his wife, the former Miss Essie Erskins of Sikes, now of West
Monroe; two sons, Donnie West Monroe; Iley of Newellton; two daughters, Mrs.
Doris Hamilton of California; Mrs. Marjorie Heath of Nevada; one sister, Mrs.
Rose Goulsby of Hudson.
