David C. Gaar Dies In Natchitoches Thurs., Aug. 23rd

David C. Gaar, aged 60 years, died at his home in Natchitoches on Thursday,
August 23.  He was a former resident of Winn Parish.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, David, U. S. Army, stationed in
Virginia; one brother, Johnsie, of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur I. Talton
of Winnfield and Mrs. George Dillon of Natchitoches.

Funeral services were held Aug. 23, 1945 with the Rev. Simmons of the West End
Baptist Church officiating.  Burial was in the Natchitoches Cemetery.
