Funeral Services For Mrs. J. A. Gaar Held At New Hope

Aged Lady Dies Sunday Night At Her Home Near Dodson

Funeral services for Mrs. J. A. Gaar, age 72 years, whose death occurred
suddenly Sunday night at her home near Dodson, were held Monday afternoon at
4:30 at New Hope Methodist Protestant Church.  Rev. Edwin H. Grant, pastor of
the Dodson and New Hope M. P. churches officiated.

Mrs. Gaar was a devout member of the M. P. Church, having lived in this faith
for many years.  She is survived by her husband and the following sons and
daughters: Dennis Gaar, Charles Gaar, W. R. Gaar, Mrs. Ross Kelly, all of
Dodson, and Robert A. Gaar of Shreveport.
