Sister of Dodson Resident Buried In Jonesboro Nov. 18

Funeral services were held at Jonesboro, Monday, Nov. 18, for Mrs. J. A. Gaar
(Leecie Pullen), 76 year o1d wife of the late Dr. J. A. Albert Gaar.

The services were conducted at the Jonesboro Methodist Church by the Rev. G.
W. Dameron, pastor of the church, and the Rev. G. A. Morgan, former pastor.
Burial followed in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Mrs. Gaar, a long time resident of Jonesboro, died Nov. 15 at her son's home
in Atlanta, Ga., after a brief illness.

Survivors include two sons, O. A. Gaar of Atlanta, and Fred M. Gaar of
San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. John Held of St. Louis,
Mo., and Mrs. Homer Watkins of Jonesboro; and a brother, Bryant
Pullen of Dodson.  Mrs. Gaar was the aunt of Mrs. Walter Ross of Winnfield.
