Dr. Phillip Gaharan, LaSalle Doctor, Buried Sunday

Dr. Phillip S. Gaharan, Sr., veteran LaSalle Parish doctor, was buried Sunday
afternoon in the family cemetery in Rinehart following his death Saturday
afternoon in a Urania hospital.  He was 77.  Cause of death was a stroke,
which he suffered Saturday morning.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Alexander Gaharan, and eight children,
among them W. A. Gaharan of Delhi, son in law of Mrs. Bertha Stovall of
Dodson.
