Negro Found Dead From Heart Attack Tuesday Morning

Bud Gant, 55 year old Negro employee of the American Creosote Company, was
found dead near the Durham field Tuesday morning.  The parish coroner
investigated the case and found that the man came to his death by heart
failure.

It was reported that the Negro was found in the home of Louisa Sholars, Negro,
and became frightened and after running a quarter of a mile, dropped dead from
heart failure.  He had had previous trouble with his heart, it was said.
