Edna A. Garner

Services for Edna A. Garner, 80, of Montgomery were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in
New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Paige officiating.

Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Mrs. Garner died at 8:55 p.m. Friday, October 28, 1983 in Natchitoches Parish
Nursing Home, Natchitoches.

She was a native of St. Maurice, a homemaker, and a member of New Salem
Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Garner of Houston, Wade Garner of
Montgomery, and Huey Garner of LaGrange, Texas; three daughters, Irene Greer
of Alexandria, Ardis Stroud and Audrey Carson, both of Montgomery; one sister,
Jonny Matkin of Alexandria; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
