Bessie Garrett

Services for Bessie F. Garrett were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of
Southern with the Rev. Charles Haley officiating.  Burial was in Garden of
Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Garrett, 76, of Lake Cormorant, Miss., died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, June
10, 1987 in Eastwood Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.

She was a native of Bienville Parish.  She was a longtime resident of
Winnfield.

She was a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church, Winnfield.

Survivors include one daughter, Jerry Pace of Lake Cormorant, Miss.;
one stepson, Owen Garrett, Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas; one
stepdaughter, Irma Mosley of West Monroe; two sisters, Ora Dell Zubrod and
Zenora Kiley, both of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
