Mrs. B. C. Garriss, Winn Native, Dies In Bossier

Mrs. Boyd C. Garriss, 70, of Minden, died in a Bossier City nursing home
Friday, May 12, 1972, following a long illness.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Garriss was a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Green-Kleinegger Chapel
with the Rev. Paul W. Cassell officiating.  Burial was in Garden of
Memories Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Boyd C. Garriss, Sr.; two sons, Boyd C. 
Garriss, jr., of Texas City, Texas, and Will R. Garriss of Selma, Ala.; a
daughter, Mrs. Joy Fay Connell of Pasadena, Tex.; and nine grandchildren.

Attending the last rites from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Reid, Mr. and
Mrs. Buddy Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Kelley.
