Mrs. J. A. Gaar Buried At New Hope Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. J. A. Gaar, 72 years of age, who died suddenly at
her home in Dodson, Sunday, August 26, 1934, were held at the New Hope Church
near Dodson, Monday afternoon, at 4:30 o'clock with Rev. Edwin S. Grant in
charge.  Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Gaar came to the Dodson community at the time of her marriage to Mr. Gaar
about forty four years ago.  She had been in failing health for some time but
her death was unexpected.

She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Dennis Gaar, W. R. Gaar,
and Charles Gaar, all of Dodson; Robert Gaar of Shreveport; Mrs. Ross Kelly of
Dodson, and many other relatives.
