Mae Louise Boyett Garahan,obit Oct 19, 1985, Monroe News Star 

Mae Louise Boyett Garahan passed away in the early morning of October 18,1985 
at the Oaks nursing home,Monroe Louisiana at the age of 96.Mae was the wife 
of Robert Elijah Boyett,deputy sheriff of Winnfield killed in the line of 
duty 1926. 
She remarried Michael C. Garahan of Baton Rouge,La.around 1941. 
The funeral services will be today October 19,1985 at 2:00 pm at the 
Southern Funeral home Winnfield,Louisiana.Burial will be at the Winnfield 
City Cemetery. 
She is survived by two sons,James Robert Boyett of Monroe,La.Dale William 
Boyett of Baton Rouge,La.Five grandchildren Julie Roy of Morehead City,North 
Carolina,Susie Boyett of Monroe,La.Michael Richard Boyett of Monroe,Robert 
Scott Boyett of Monroe,& Brenda G. Keith of Baton Rouge ; 10 
greatgrandchildren.
