Last Rites Held For Mrs. Gardner Of Rt. 1, Montgomery

Last rites for Mrs. W. D. Gardner, 80, who died Tuesday at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. N. M. Brian of Montgomery, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec.
17, at the St. Maurice Baptist Church.  Burial was in St. Maurice Cemetery.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Magnolia, Ark., and was reared in Louisiana.  She is
survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Barnette of Bossier
City, Mrs. Brian and Miss Myrt Gardner of Montgomery; five sons, Oscar and
Floyd Gardner of Shreveport, Dr. W. A. Gardner of Coatesville, Pa., Overton of
Lake Charles, and Frank of Benton.
