All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** >From the March 1, 1935 Winnfield News-American Mrs. Stacey Garner Dies At Her Home At Crews, Feb. 20th Mrs. Stacey Garner, age 69, died at her home at Crews Wednesday of last week following an attack of measles which was made more serious by a broken shoulder suffered sometime before. The deceased was the wife of the late Pink Garner and is survived by two sons, Alfred and Ben Stacey and one daughter, Miss Frances Stacey. In addition to her children she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Horn of Natchitoches and Mrs. W. A. Christy of Montgomery, one brother, J. A. Boggs of Crews. Funeral services were held the following day at Mt. Zion Church conducted by the Rev. J. M. Boyd. Among those attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boggs of Longview, Texas.
