John A. Garner, Winn Native, Dies in Transylvania

John A. Garner, 64, a resident of Transylvania for 24 years, died there
Thursday of last week of a heart attack.  He was a native of Winn Parish.

Last rites were held Saturday at the Melbourne Baptist Church with burial in a
cemetery at Tallulah.

Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, one of whom is Mrs. L. P.
Ferguson of Atlanta; and seven sons.
