PAT L. GARRETT HELD AT BETHLEHEM Funeral services for Mrs. Pat L. Garrett, 52 years, two months, and 18 days of age, a life-long resident of Winn parish, who succumbed at her home on Route 4, Winnfield, Wednesday, April 7, after a long illness, were held at the Bethlehem Church Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Ernest Evans and the Rev. D.W. McDaniels officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home. Born and reared in the Wattsville community, Mrs. Garrett had been a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church since early childhood. Surviving are her husband, Pat L. Garrett; one son, Dewey Garrett; and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nena Garrett; one granddaughter, Jacqueline Garrett; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Chandler and Mrs. Jenat [Jeanette] Garrett, all of Winnfield, Route Four, and Mrs. Evie Howard of Winnfield; and one brother, Purvis Griffin, of Route Four, Winnfield.
