He was a retired farmer. Funeral services will be conducted at the Union Hill Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 1961, with the Rev. B. F. Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are three sons, John Garner, Winnfield, Falers Garner, Macon, Ga., and Frank Garner, Sacramento, Calif.; six daughters, Jerlean Calhoun, Mary Jackson, Thelma Perry, and Iola Anderson, all of Winnfield; Edna White, Texarkana, and Luevonia Kelly, Silsbee, Texas.
