Shirley Jean Gaar, 3 Years, Dies Suddenly

Shirley Jean Gaar, 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gaar, of New
Hope, died Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at her home after a brief
illness.  Shirley Jean's sudden death was a shock as she had only been ill two
days.  She is survived by her parents, and one sister and other relatives at
New Hope.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m. at New Hope
Methodist Church.  Rev. I. A. Patton of Monroe had charge of the services.
