Maxine Gates

Services for Maxine B. Gates were held at 2 p.m., in Goldonna Baptist Church
with the Rev. Doyle McGraw officiating.  Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under
direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Mrs. Gates, 60, of Goldonna died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 1985 in
Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmie Joe Gates and Jack Gates both of
Goldonna, and Frank Gates of Chestnut; one daughter, Myrtle Garner of
Goldonna; three brothers, Bud Blake and H. P. Blake, both of Winnfield and
Conard Blake of Goldonna; one sister, Mavis Sullivan of Conroe, Texas and four
grandchildren.
