Mrs. Martha Anne Gathright Buried At Gansville Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Anne Gathright, 74 years of age, who died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. B. Puckett, at Georgetown, Tuesday,
following an illness of three weeks with a stroke of paralysis, were held at
the Gansville Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon.  Interment was in the
Gansville Cemetery.  The Rev. Monk, of Jonesboro, had charge of the services.

Mrs. Gathright was born and reared in the Gansville Community, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Eldridge.  She was a member of the Primitive Baptist
Church.  For the past several years she had resided with her son near Dodson,
but lately with her daughter, Mrs. Puckett, of Georgetown.

Surviving are two daughters and one son, Mrs. Puckett of Georgetown, Mrs. Ola
Mae McNeal of Centerpoint, La., and Edward Lewis of near Dodson.

The deceased was the grandmother of Mrs. Olney Long of Winnfield and Mrs. E.
C. Willis of Sikes.
