Funeral Services For Mrs. B. F. Gates At Mineral Springs

Mrs. B. F. Gates succumbed December 12th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.
N. Vines, near Dodson, where she had made her home for the past eleven months. 
She had been in failing health for several months with pleurisy.

Mrs. Gates was a devoted member of the Baptist Church and believer in God. 
Her husband and six children preceded her in death.  She leaves five children
to mourn her passing.  They are W. N. Gates, Mrs. S. N. Vines, Miss Angie
Gates, Mrs. L. N. Vines, and Charles Gates, all of Dodson.  Also, fifteen
grandchildren.

She was laid to rest in the Mineral Springs Cemetery.  Funeral services were
conducted by the Rev. Joe Adams of Sikes.  The deceased was 66 years, 9
months, and 7 days old.
