Pinky had worked for years in New York in the advertising field and more recently for the J. Walter Thompson Advertising Company. Near and surviving relatives include an aunt, Mrs. Mary Lee Cotton Phillips, wife of D. H. Phillips, deceased, an aunt, Mrs. Fay Hollis, wife of A. L. Hollis, Sr., deceased two cousins, Ardis Phillips and family, all of Marion, Louisiana and Jimmy P. Phillips and family of Richardson, Texas; Mary Reinhard and Gwendolyn Walsh, cousins of New Orleans as well as distant relatives in Winnfield, and a host of friends in New York and Connecticut. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Jack Midyett, Pastor of the First Methodist Church of Winnfield, at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in the Winnfield City Cemetery, under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jim Russell, Dr. Ray Jenkins, Dudley Shell, Dennis Shell, Denton Shell, and Reginald Dietzel.
