Mrs. Gentry was 60 years old. She had been a member of the Missionary Baptist Church forty-five years. Funeral services were held in Sikes church Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Joe Adams in charge of the services. Interment was in the Sikes Cemetery. The deceased is survived by her husband, Milburn Gentry and the following children, Mrs. O. O. Willis, Sikes; Mrs. Wesley McCarty, Hodge; Horace Gentry and Gladden Gentry, Chenney (Cheniere?) Mill; Iley Gentry and Sam Gentry, Sikes. A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends attended the last rites.
