D. Gentry, age 77, died at his home five miles south of Winnfield at six o'clock Thursday morning form a sudden heart attack. Mr. Gentry had _____ at his usual time, five o'clock, and had started a fire in the _____ stove preparatory to making his morning coffee and as _____ entered or was going out of the kitchen door he was stricken and fell and it was there he was found a few minutes later. Mr. Gentry was a native of Harrison County, Georgia and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. He came to Louisiana in 1891 and for the past twenty years has resided five miles south of Winnfield, engaged in farming. Funeral services will be held today at Old Corinth Church and interment in the church cemetery, conducted by the Rev. M. E. Brown of Homer. Surviving the deceased are his widow, one son, ?. ?. Gentry of Winnfield, and one daughter, Mrs. Etta Cheatwood of Ruston.
