Survivors include her husband, Clayton Gentry of Montgomery; three sons, Clayton Gentry, Jr. and Danny Gentry, both of Montgomery, and Ronald Wayne Gentry of LaPlace; eight daughters, Dorothy Cameron and Billie Jones, both of Montgomery, Emily Welch of St. Maurice, Margie Foster of Natchitoches, Alice Welch of LaPlace, Doris Hines of Campti, Connie Antee and Vickie Gentry, both of Creston; two brothers, Ray Hunter of Gonzales and Edgar Hunter of Bernice; four sisters, Juanita Geddes and Ernestine Morrill, both of Montgomery, Nettie Barrett of Pontiac, Mich., and Mable Faulkner of Silsbee, Texas; 34 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Salem Baptist Church, Crews, with the Rev. Virgil Tingle officiating. Burial was in the Mount Zion Cemetery, Wheeling, under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.
