Robert W. Gentry of Verda Dies; Buried Aug. 30

Funeral services for Robert W. Gentry, 72, of Verda were held at 10 a.m. from
the Verda Baptist Church at Verda with Rev. A. L. Brister officiating.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

He died Monday in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, R. W. Gentry of Roanoke Rapides, N. C.
and Billy F. Gentry of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Madelin
McCay of Houston and Mrs. Hazel Krascht of Tyler, Texas; one brother, Lonnie
Gentry of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Burnside of Houston, and Mrs. Sadie
Beal of Tyler, Texas.
