Funeral Services For Mrs. George Were Held April 26

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie George, 75 years old, who died Tuesday
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Jackson, in Winnfield, were
held in Alexandria Wednesday.  Burial was in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. George, who had resided in Winnfield a year and three months, was a
native of Avoyelles Parish.  She had been ill four months.

Besides her daughter in Winnfield, Mrs. George is survived by her husband, C.
R. George, and four sons: W. B. George, Winnfield; G. H. George, Shreveport;
J. E. George, Baton Rouge; and C. F. George, Pineville.

Mrs. George was a member of the Baptist Church of Winnfield.
