Bob Hollis officiating. Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery under direction of Lakeview. Mrs. Giddens died Monday evening, November 14, 1983 in Woodland Heights Hospital, Lufkin, Texas after an automobile accident in Lufkin. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Home and Garden Club, and the Montgomery Civic Club. She was chairman of Montgomery Cemetery Committee, a member of the Grant Parish Homemaker Council, and chairman of the Community of the Needy. Survivors include one son, William "Billy" Giddens of Natchitoches; one brother, W. O. Harrison of Montgomery; and four grandchildren.
