Father Of Local Resident Dies In Jonesville

Funeral services for B. M. Gilcrease, 80, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at
Wallace Ridge Baptist Church near Jonesville with the Revs. L. C. Coates and
C. B. Renfro officiating.

Burial was in Huffman Cemetery near Jonesville.

Mr. Gilcrease died Saturday, December 3, 1966 in a Jonesville hospital after a
lengthy illness.

He was a farmer and a resident of Jonesville for 60 years.  He was also a
member of Wallace Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. B. M. Gilcrease, Jonesville; a daughter,
Mrs. Dewey Creel, Winnfield; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
